Selectivity

The main objective of this project is to offer students and teachers a wide-ranging database of solved problems which could be drawn upon via the Internet to help students overcome University entrance exams.

The project currently has over 500 solved problems in multimedia format. It is foreseen that this database will gradually increase to the tune of approximately 120 problems yearly.

These problems pertain to the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, History, History of Art, Language and Literature, Technical Drawing, Biology and Philosophy taken at degree level (subjects may be consulted on our website www.selectividad.tv and on Educared).

The problems have been taken from real and recent entrance exams so that they might reflect, adequately, the preparation required by the students.

The main difficulty of the project – and, at the same time, its most interesting aspect – stems from translating into multimedia language, susceptible to diffusion over the Internet, the capabilities and pedagogical methods of the teachers and professors involved in the project, something which requires their valuable input given that they must not only solve the problems presented but must also participate in each stage of the subsequent multimedia development.
