Project description

Customer: Pons is the largest publisher of Spain road safety education manuals and training in driving schools. The group also includes administrative agencies, consultants and insurance brokers.

Project: 2mdc is responsible for renewing the Pons website to offer and promote their services and improve their brand image online. To achieve this, we developed:

  • An online database of knowledge on road safety.
  • A tests system of driving tests.
  • A bulletin board for job offers and sale of teaching materials.
  • A search form of driving schools.
Besides that, we integrated an online store with payment gateway, a blog and an area of promotion of its products. We used Flash for animations and JavaScript for tests and online catalog. We also picked PHP and MySQL for content managers. We oriented our efforts on SEO and eventually we developed a web registration system for students and a system for creating reports in Excel format with ordering information. Since its release, more than 3,000 driving schools have been registered on the website of Pons.
